Today in class we learned some good tips on how to give a good presentation. I will defitnily take all the tips in mind when im doing my presentation. Also inclass we worked on our gropu website some more. We are doing pretty good on that, we have the landing page,style sheet and authors pages done. All we need to do is take eveyrones individual pages and put them together so the site becomes a website. We willbe working on it alot more over the weekened to do all the finishing touches. And we will be ready to present on tuesday.

My webteam and I have worked alittle more on our collabrotative webpage. As of right now we have a skelteon landing page and an overview of how the whole site is goin to come together. Our site is on Internet secrutiy, we are all doing different topics about it. For example, im doin mine on keyloggers and the other topics are hacking,security and identity theft. We will each make our own digital images to go along with our own individual websites. We will be meeting up as a team and also working on it more in class.

I really like the whole idea of external style sheets. It is really useful if you are making a website with mupltiple pages because you can link all the pages to the same style sheet so it all looks the same and is much easier then putting internal style sheets in each one. This is good to save time and it helps with web usability . Some stuff were talking about in class is web accessibility, it's amazing how theres so many things that go into websites to make them accessible to everyone. They have to be readable by all persons, for example, people that suffer from blindness . So all websites have code built in that can be played by certain programs so blind people can access them to. What it does is read off everything on the webpage in a certain way to web site designer creates to make it easy to understand. Everything on the web should be accessible by everyone just like everything in real life is accessible to everyone.

Right now in class we just started talking about our collaborative websites. My team is going to concentrate on the topic of internet security. Each of us are going to do a different topic from it and make a website about it. In class were talking about web usabilitly. I never noticed how many different things go into makin websites easier for the user to use. Like color,graphics, the way it is setup, everything counts. Web designs try to make the usability the highest and they have a list of guidelines to follow from.

The web is full of many useful things, one fo them is all the wikis that are aaiblie. A wiki is somthing created by users that holds information about a certain thing, or anything. It's kind of like an encyolopedi for example there is a wiki about the type of car I have and I can find any information I want about my type of car on there. It is set up like all other wiki's. The only problem about wikis is you cant trust all the information on it. It is not always credible information becausethe users put it on there. Wiki's are useful though , they ahve helped me plenty of times.

Adobe Photoshop is fun to use and im happy we learned about it. Ive started the digital imgaing project and it's coming out real good. I like all the different types of effects you can do on photoshop, it's fun to just mess around with. I wish i could have the whole version of photoshop to instead of just the demo. The guest speaker about the researching was a big help, the research project shouldnt be to bad now that im better at researching. Thats about it for now.

I'm really enjoying what we are learning in class. Making the 1st webpage was fun,i really feel like I know what im doing now. I think CSS is so much easier to use, and I cant wait to learn photoshop.
